We need to find a new way to get new members. As Adam_Corn said when he first came on this site is very inactive, even though some of you denied it. We only have about 10 members who consistently post on this site and its nice in the way that you kinda know the people, but you can't always get the card you want or get help on your deck. You list something on pojo for 10 minutes and you get the same number of responses you would be lucky to get in a week here. Does anybody have any suggestions?

maybe out sourcing with advertising to promote the site or maybe assigning people to go out in to there community and tell people about the site and the forum maybe get them to go to the tournments and other comps and tell people about the site

I understand your thinking guys, but really, what is there to draw people to the forums on this site?

I quite like the smaller, quieter chat. Pojo I find too busy, and another Yugioh forum I'm on I find busy also, but I have my "clique" and enjoy it.

I think if you're after a bigger site and after more people, then maybe the idea isn't to get more people here, onto a barely moderated and minimal fuss forum- maybe the answer is to go elsewhere as well?

I'm not saying as big as pojo or other sites but 10 maybe 15 more members who consistently post.

Ah ok I understand now. I don't think Admin has the time or money to put into an advertising scheme... maybe PM him and see if you want to.

I kinda like one of paully's ideas. Just have people talk about it at tournaments. I think we could get the 10 to 15 more just by doing that and it doesn't cost money and you're already at the tournament so it doesn't really cost any time either.

yea well maybe if we can encourage those people who consistantly post to tell people they know about the site then those people can do the same and after a while we will end up with alot of consistant members and also we should encourage people to tell others about the site whilst at tournaments

The idea to create this forum was to help new people around the price guide and create a small community here. At some point I think it lost tracks but from what I see now it's all settled and works fine - thanks to moderators who do great job. If it can grow organically and attract more people that would be great, but we do not plan any advertising for that.
