I’m not really a Lightsworn expert, but the main themed cards you’d probably want to have in the deck are:
Judgement
DragonLight/
DragonLevel 8
ATK 3000/DEF 2600
This card cannot be
Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by having 4 or more "Lightsworn"
monsters with different names in your Graveyard. You can pay 1000 Life Points to destroy all other cards on the
field. During each of your End Phases, send the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.
HonestLight/
FairyLevel 4
ATK 1100/DEF 1900
In your main phase, you can return this card from the
field to its owner’s hand. During the damage step of either player’s turn, when one of your face-up
Light monsters battles, you may send this card from your hand to your graveyard to have your battling
monster gain ATK equal to the ATK of the
monster it is battling. This ATK bonus lasts until the end phase.
Glorious IllusionContinuous TrapSelect a "Lightsworn"
monster in your graveyard and special summon it in attack. In each of your end phases, send the top two cards of your deck to your graveyard. When
Glorious Illusion is removed from the
field, destroy that
monster. When the
monster is removed from the
field, destroy
Glorious Illusion.
Garoth, Lightsworn WarriorLevel 4
Light/
Warrior1850/1300
Each time a card or cards are sent from your deck to the graveyard by the
effect of one of your "Lightsworn"
monsters (except "
Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior") send the top two cards of your deck to your graveyard. Then, draw a card for each "Lightsworn"
monster sent to the graveyard by this
effect.
Wulf, Lightsworn Beast Beast-Warrior /
LightLevel 4
2100 / 300
This card can’t be
normal summoned or set. When Wulf is sent from your deck to your graveyard, special summon it.
Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner Spellcaster /
Light Level 3
1000 / 1000
Once each turn, you can discard a card to special summon a Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn"
monster from your graveyard. In each of your end phases, send the top three cards from your deck to your graveyard.
Ryko, Lightsworn HunterLevel 2
Light /
Beast200/100
Flip
Effect: You can destroy a card on the
field. Send three cards from the top of your deck to the graveyard.
Solar
ExchangeNormal SpellDiscard a "Lightsworn"
monster. Draw two cards, then two cards from the top of your deck to the graveyard.
In answer to how to stop yourself decking out while playing Lightsworn, I suppose you could run a few copies of the now unlimited
Pot of Avarice. Hope this helped.
